EDI Hila: Edited by Anri Sala - Hardcover

by Eda Hila (Artist), Eva Fabbris (Text by (Art/Photo Books)), Anri Sala (Text by (Art/Photo Books))

Through interacting with Edi Hila's paintings, Anri Sala contemplates the artist's and his own shared historical and political consciousness

In this unique publication, Albanian contemporary artist Anri Sala directly engages with the work of his fellow countryman, Edi Hila (born 1944). Sala reads the transformations that have marked Eastern Europe--emerging through Hila's paintings--as conditions that may also be understood in broader, even universal terms.
