Anyone can suffer from a mental illness. It does not matter which gender, nationality, race or age you have. It is a life long battle. Suffering myself from anxiety and depression I know how hard it is to live with this illnesses. This book is full of poems about mental health. The poems are about darkness, hope, light, love, community. Writing is healing and that is one of the main reasons why I have written this book. If we can heal ourselves we can heal others too. I want people to feel loved, not suffer in silence and remind them that they are never alone. We are all in this together.
