Future Systems presents a selection of ground-breaking and original work by this pioneering architectural and design practice from the last twenty-five years. Over fifty projects are presented by type of building, culminating in landmark schemes such as Selfridges in Birmingham, completed in 2003. The text gives a detailed description of each project and the design process behind it. The book features four-hundred photographs and drawings, many of which have not been published before.

Author Biography

Deyan Sudjic is former Editor of Domus magazine and Curator of the Venice Biennale 2002. He is a highly respected and well-known architectural critic and writer; he is also the author of John Pawson Works, published by Phaidon.
