Author Biography

Chantal is a single mother of two, born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. Chantal attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville as a Computer Information Systems major, but put her degree on hold to take care of her daughters. One of her main goals in life is to finish school and get that degree. In May, 2017, Chantal started the Growing Girls With Curls blog. The purpose of the blog is to encourage young girls and women to embrace their natural hair while facing life's challenges head on. She writes about life as a single mom and learning from past experiences. With her writing, Chantal as has not only helped other girls and young mothers, but she has found her own purpose in life.
