Some of today's computer hackers are driven by money, but some of them do it as part of a social activist agenda. They are known as "hacktivists," and one of the largest hacktivists organizations is called Anonymous. Their members wear masks to remind people of the original Guy Fawkes who tried to overthrow the British government 400 years ago. Scott Tilley is a professor in the Department of Engineering Systems at the Florida Institute of Technology, president of the Big Data Florida user group, and president of the Space Coast Writers' Guild.
