Happiness Happens: Happiness for Those Who Have Everything Else - Paperback
by Robin Singh (Author)
Happiness for those who have everything else. A purpose-driven memoir for those seeking more than success. How one man left it all to find meaning in simplicity.
Robin Singh had everything he thought he wanted--financial security, a stable life in the US, and a marriage to the love of his life--yet he wasn't truly happy. In his search for happiness, he discovered something deeper: purpose. Only when he shifted his focus from chasing happiness to pursuing purpose did he finally find what he had been seeking. This book chronicles the period between exiting his tech company and founding Peepal Farm, an animal rescue center. It is a compilation of the questions he asked and the answers he received along the way. While he may not have the answers to the ultimate questions of life, he can explain why we should live and how to live. Happiness Happens is an exploration of what truly makes us happy. Robin shares his journey with simplicity and honesty, offering guidance to those dissatisfied with their current lives but unsure of what to do next.Author Biography
Robin Singh is an entrepreneur who began his career as a hacker in 1997. In 2003, he founded E-junkie, a service that removes technological barriers for artists and authors to sell digital content directly to buyers. Later that year, he moved to Tucson to continue developing E-junkie.
After successfully exiting the business in 2011, Robin shifted his focus to animal welfare in February of 2013. Recognizing that traditional welfare projects in India often cannot scale through infrastructure alone, he pivoted to a model centered on involvement and inspiration. In December 2014, he co-founded Peepal Farm--a sanctuary for animals to heal and be heard--where he has been building, running, and living ever since.
