Author Biography

Julieanna Frost has been a writer and educator for more than twenty-five years. Her main research areas include women's history, religious studies and American culture. She received her doctorate from the Union Institute and University in 2007 with a specialization in women's history. She has several publications to her name, including the books Teaching the Pure Lutheran Gospel: The Life of Rosa Young, Adrian (Images of America series); The Worthy Virgins: Mary Purnell and Her City of David; Chemo Fashion Fridays: One Woman's Breast Cancer Journey; and The Green Scriptures. She is the recipient of several honors and awards. Dr. Frost is an active member of the Communal Studies Association.
