Author Biography

Larry Alvarez is a police detective supervisor (ret.) with the Los Angeles Police Department. He has worked patrol, gangs, vice, counter terrorism, organized crime, intelligence, undercover, night watch detectives, surveillance, officer-involved-shootings, internal affairs, and a host of other investigative assignments. Detective Alvarez holds a Juris Doctorate degree, a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology. He is a criminal justice professor, and has been published in the Counter Terrorism Journal and the F.B.I. Law Enforcement Bulletin. This is his first novel.
