Author Biography

I am a retired Baptist Pastor with over 51 years service in ministry.I served 5 churches during those years including 19 years with the last one. I received my college training in a Texas University and a Baptist Seminary. For the first several years of my ministry I also worked in the natural gas industry and was bi-vocational.I have also served several years as a vocational evangelist. For many years I wrote a weekly newspaper column and hosted a weekly Bible teaching radio broadcast. I also hosted several tour groups to the Bible lands, England, Africa, and Europe. I am still actively engaged in that work. My wife Donna and I have been married 48 years and we have two sons who are in the ministry as pastors and a daughter who is the princpal of a public school. We have two lovely daughters-in-law who have provided us with four (two each)wonderful grandchildren. My wife and I enjoy fishing, golf, reading and travel. I still keep a speaking engagement calendar and work with churches on short term projects. Writing thousands of sermons over the years and many ministry booklets has led me naturally into the writing of a book. I am considering further writing projects.
