Author Biography
Tammie Oka was born and raised in Honolulu. She has been published in Trout Online Journal of Arts and Literature and has a forthcoming publication in the Hawaii Review. She graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Master's degree in English with a creative writing concentration in May 2007. She also has a Bachelor's degree in English and journalism. She was a recipient of the Myrle Clack Award for creative writing in 2005 and is a member of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers. This is her first book of poems.
