Iggy Boulder is the tallest igneous mountain in the Stony Mountain Range. He is minding his own business, going to school, blowing clouds around the sky, and living a normal life when one stormy morning a lightning bolt strikes him and sends him on the ride of his life through the rock cycle. Join Iggy on his ride and find out why he wasn't paying attention when the rock cycle was taught in school, why Mrs. Peak's head is on fire, and why Iggy is scared of the Mad Manto.

Author Biography

VERONICA LOPEZ is a teacher who has always loved exploring her surroundings and asking questions. As a child, she would go on nature walks along the irrigation canals and through the sugar cane fields around her home. On her walks, she enjoyed collecting pebbles, stones, and rocks. She would ask herself questions about where they came from and why they looked so different. She has passed on her love of asking questions, exploring nature, and studying rocks to all of her students. Veronica currently lives in South Texas, with her husband Guillermo, their niece Josie, and their great nephew Benjamin (the light of her life).
