Author Biography

Francois Vanoosthuyse is a lecturer in French literature and the didactics of French as a foreign language at Sorbonne nouvelle - Paris 3 University. Following a thesis which focused on the mimetic performances of Stendhalian narratives, he has published numerous articles devoted to the literary life of the early nineteenth century in France as well as to questions of literary theory.
