Love Canal - Paperback
by Tima Smith (Author)
NATE: Sometimes everything goes wrong. For Nate, it's losing the wife he lived with for two decades and being down-sized from the job he's held since he was twenty-three. Feeling hopeless, he decides a road trip is as good a way as any other to put it all behind him. MINA: Twenty years ago, Love Canal was a place she couldn't leave behind fast enough. But now, despite the things it robbed her of - her children, her husband, essentially her whole life - she's back in her old Love Canal house because it's the last place she can remember being happy. THE MEETING: When Nate's car breaks down in the middle of the night, he has no idea where he is, and Mina's light is the only one he can see. But when she opens the door, he isn't sure if she's on the edge of madness or simply the strangest woman he's ever met. The one thing she does have, that he does not - is a plan.
