Mount Mansfield rises 4,393 feet into the sky, making it Vermont's tallest peak. As a snowboarder, I appreciate its beauty, from Ice Age alpine tundra to forests holding powder secrets. During the winter of 2023/2024, I documented my experiences riding at Stowe Mountain Resort, whose trails cover Mansfield's ancient pitches. These poems highlight the mountain's uniqueness, and what it's like riding through the Vermont winter.
