Maximeron-2 is a continuation of a series inspired by the form, spirit, and style of the famous 14th-century novellas by Giovanni Boccaccio, known as The Decameron.

Each chapter tells a story about events from the lives of city residents, this time people living in the modern day. The events take place in Dallas, Texas, where the author of this book has lived for more than thirty years.
