by Lisa Vasquez (Editor in Chief), Lisa Lee Tone (Managing Editor)

Our Summer Slasher issue is here-and it's hotter, bloodier, and darker than ever. Packed with wickedly fun seasonal content, we're celebrating the tropes, thrills, and screams that define "summer horror".

This issue features interviews with Tim Lebbon-master of genre-bending dark fiction-and Alexander Raye Pimentel, rising voice in indie filmmaking, as they share insights on writing, inspiration, and what makes their stories endure.

From killer summer throwbacks to trivia, games, and deep dives into horror culture, we've built an issue that's both nostalgic and razor-sharp. Whether you're lounging poolside or hiding in a cabin in the woods, our Summer Slasherissue delivers the perfect mix of chills, blood, and brilliance.

And don't think this issue is only for summertime nostalgia. We come prepared to fright and delight our loyal readers as we roll right into the pumpkin patches, cornfields, and to the porches for all the tricks and treatsyou could ask for!
