Author Biography

Capt. Mike Martel has spent much of his life sailing, boating, and cruising on and around Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island Sound, the Caribbean, and various offshore passages. These adventures come to life in his second collection of yarns, More Tales From a Gimbaled Wrist, a diverse collection of short stories, cruising recollections, and other rollicking yarns, introspective pieces, and humorous anecdotes drawn from his experiences at sea and on shore.
