On Furious Wings: new and selected poems - Paperback

by Ulrich Wendt (Author)

Erase History if you dare.
She returns on furious wings.

This remarkable grouping of approachable poems deals with the struggles of ordinary people coming to terms with the forces of history. The author draws on his early experiences as a refugee in post-war Europe, immigration as a child to Canada, and living in a free and welcoming multicultural land that is, nevertheless, rooted in its history of colonialism. The poems tend towards realism, social justice and the wild.
