Co-parenting is where two parents decide that they can't be in a relationship, but they need to be cooperative parents for the child or children that they have. Being cooperative doesn't mean that you agree with everything, but it means that you agree to talk cordially to each other and attempt to make decisions together so that the child[ren] does well.

Dr. Quaneck R. Walkes is a native of Sumter, South Carolina. Dr. Walkes is a Certified Parent Instructor and IT Professional. She graduated with honors from Argosy University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Benedict College. Dr. Walkes has over 12 years of experience as an experienced educator. She is an experienced parent in multiple parenting styles that include but not limited to: a biological parent, co-parent, stepparent, married parent, divorced parent, foster parent, godparent, homeschool parent, child advocate. Dr. Walkes has experience as a poet, motivational speaker, college mentor, after-school program mentor, Information Technology college and university instructor, author, tutor for various professional disciples that include but not limited to computer science, programming, marketing, technical and business writing, literacy and career change, K-5 paraprofessional, technology trainer, elementary PTA vice president, Graduate Teaching Assistant, corporate technical writer, technology solutions administrator and web designer.
