Rayna and her caterpillar friends attend Metamorphosis School to learn how to become a butterfly. She dreams about what colors she will be. When Rayna emerges from the chrysalis, she can't understand why no one acknowledges her presence. She discovers she is transparent, with no colors. Iris, a butterfly fairy, appears and tells Rayna she has been chosen to lead all monarch butterflies in migration.
