Ruth Pastine: Limitless - Hardcover

by Ruth Pastine (Artist), Nancy Zastudil (Editor), Shana Nys Dambrot (Text by (Art/Photo Books))

A generation removed from the Light and Space artists of the '60s, Pastine nonetheless continues their legacy through her luminous, streamlined paintings

Born in New York and based in California, Ruth Pastine (born 1964) is known for her minimalist color field paintings and multi-panel installations evocative of the Light and Space movement. For more than 40 years, she has pursued a phenomenological investigation of visual perception through paint's relative qualities of color, saturation and depth.
