Indigenous peoples and their traditional knowledge play critical roles in the collective global responses to the challenges posed by changes in social structure and climate across the globe. In this manuscript we present some significant and scientifically validated indigenous traditional knowledge and decision making approaches of indigenous Galo/Adi tribes of North Eastern Himalayan region of India related to farming and allied activities.
