Author Biography

Alan Beech grew up in England and received a B. Sc. Special degree from the University of London in chemistry with physics, math and biology minors. In the United States he earned a Ph. D. in pharmacology at the U of MD School of Medicine. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry and taught in medical school, pharmacy school, community college and high school. He is an amateur actor, hippie and poet, now retired.
