The chronicle of everyday duties becomes a micro history of Stalinism and its repressive ideology. The publication includes a foreword of the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergey Arutyunov; as well as scholarly articles of editors Elsa-Bair Guchinova and Harutyun Marutyan. The text includes references written by the editors and by the author. The photographs are taken in Siberia.

Author Biography

Born in 1925 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Attended Tbilisi Medical University and, while in exile, Tomsk Medical University. Graduated from Yerevan Medical University in 1955. Pediatrician. Retired in 1991. Lives in Yerevan. Has a son and a daughter.
