Author Biography

Robert R. Davis grew up in a small town in northeast Ohio. He went on to earn his BFA in drawing and MAT in Early Childhood Education, and then moved throughout the country to work a variety of jobs, including environmental educator, art teacher, clown, starving artist, storyteller, backpack/canoe guide. Robert began writing as a result of encouragement from various professors' off-hand remarks concerning his out-of-the-box approach to essays, which mirrored his approach to life. Vivien was born in Italy and has a BA and MA in languages from the University of Bari. She then moved on to pursue a PhD in cultural history at the University of Glasgow, and also completed several fellowships between Edinburgh, Glasgow and London's Warburg Institute. She is now a freelance translator, yoga instructor, and most of all an editor at Blackwater Press. Francesco was born in Bari, Italy, and owns a diploma in comic illustration from Jesi's ACCA as well as several qualifications in creative writing. His artworks have won prizes such as the Biancoscuro Art Contest and he is active in the fields of illustration, as well as major architectural projects, including his latest with Pompeii's archaeological site.
