Aanika Nawar is a high school student who was ecstatic to have been given the opportunity to illustrate Stinky Socks. As she stated, "it was a dream come true". Since the age of four, drawing has been a passion for her and to be able to illustrate for a book and ultimately see her work published is not only a great accomplishment, but also a wish come true.
