This work considers the work of stylisation carried out on language in literary texts. This allows for a heightening of the referential impact of ordinary language and a rejection of the limit separating the effable from the ineffable.

Author Biography

Ilias Yocaris est maitre de conferences en litterature francaise contemporaine a l'universite Nice Sophia Antipolis. Ses travaux articulent des questions de theorie litteraire et de stylistique. Il est l'auteur, notamment, de L'Impossible totalite. Une etude de la complexite dans l'oeuvre de Claude Simon (Toronto, 2002) et de Style et semiosis litteraire (Paris, 2016).
