One night, while Farmer Mike and his family are unaware, rustlers come to carry off their cattle. Among the herd is a very special cow named Teta. Through odd circumstances, Teta is left in a new place unfamiliar to her. Teta's desire to find her way home to Farmer Mike leads her through a series of adventures. Inspired by the author's impressions of growing up in rural North Dakota, the story is creatively designed to capture the imagination of the reader and entertainingly relays a message of friendship and determination.
