The Bossy Ruler: A Funny Story About Control, Flexibility, and Letting Others Choose - Paperback

by Holly Lindars (Author)

Some kids like order. Rita Ruler wants total control.

Rita believes she's helping - fixing, measuring, correcting-until her friends stop sharing ideas and the fun disappears. When their project collapses, Rita learns that teamwork isn't about being right... it's about building together.

This book helps children practice:

• Flexibility when plans change
• Listening and taking turns
• The "Two Rules" tool (safety + kindness) to reduce controlling behavior

Perfect for classrooms and sibling dynamics, The Pencil Case Crew offers a funny, practical way to talk about control and cooperation.
