The Danish art school was founded in 1961 by Poul Gernes and can be compared to Bauhaus and Black Mountain College. It was in contact with Joseph Beuys, Henry Flynt, and Nam June Paik, and evolved into an art grouping that included names like Henning Christiansen, Per Kirkeby, and Bj rn N rgaard.
