The Bug Club: Fanciful Fantasies for Bright Children - Paperback
by Mary Dawn (Author)
Mary Dawn has always been a story teller. And now she has come up with a few stories of bugs you may not have heard about before. You'll meet a curious little spider, a firefly who learns to count, an ambitious ant that wants to see the world, a gifted grasshopper who hops into the Olympics, dancing leaves, a musical cricket, an earwig that solves a problem, a heroic little fly, a dung beetle that saves the day, and the little bug who invented a new genus called Bumble Bug! Oh yes, Mary Dawn slips in two poems, one about an insecure princess, and one about a mouse that likes to fish!
Author Biography
Mary Dawn Justus has been a story teller all her life. As a child she told her stories to her dolls and the neighbor kids. When she became a mother she created bedtime stories for her children, continuing her tales with her family through three generations: her six children, her umpteen grandchildren, and now a few great-grandchildren (who can count all those little ones?). She lives with her husband Jim in Colorado, very near her loving family.
