Dave Maynard was the quirky mainstay of WBZ radio in Boston for more than 40 years. His acclaimed "Maynard in the Morning" was the leader in its time slot for the entire time it was on the air. His commercials for the show, which won advertising awards, always ended with a disheveled Dave saying, "Piece of Cake."
