Author Biography
Joe Tennis is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and a graduate of Kempsville High School, Tidewater Community College, and Radford University. He has contributed articles and photos to Coastal Virginia Magazine, Hampton Roads Magazine, the Virginian-Pilot, Virginia Living and Blue Ridge Country. He is also the author of The Ghostly Tales of Virginia's Blue Ridge Highlands, Haunts of Virginia's Blue Ridge Highlands, along Virginia's Route 58: True Tales From Beach To Bluegrass, and Virginia Rail Trails: Crossing the Commonwealth.
Abigail Tennis is a native of Abingdon, Virginia and a graduate of Abingdon High School and Virginia Highlands Community College. She is an avid photographer, whose photos have appeared in Blue Ridge Country and the Bristol Herald Courier. Like her father, Joe Tennis, she has long had an interest in Virginia history, especially ghosts.
