by Helen Hyde (Author)

  • Draws on original archives and records held in England and Italy
  • Pole's story is entwined with those of the Tudors, England and Europe. Hyde skilfully pulls these threads together to create a book that will appeal to anybody with an interest in the era.
  • A new, comprehensive biography of Pole is long overdue. Helen Hyde plugs a crucial gap in the wider bibliography of the Tudor era.
