Author Biography

Born and raised in Belgium, Morrismoved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met RenéGoscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until Goscinny's death in 1977. JeanLéturgieco-created the character of Percevanbefore he began an enduring cooperation with XavierFauchethat produced eight Lucky Luketitles, followed by the spin-off series Rantanplan(Rin Tin Can) and Kid Lucky. Yannis known for his ferocious humour and his enduring cynicism; he's one of the most essential writers of the comics scene, with over 50 series under his belt.
