Author Biography

Dr. Arthur Field holds a Ph.D. from Clemson in Management Science specializing in applied statistics. He has a J.D. from Rutgers Law and B.A.s in mathematics and statistics from Rutgers. He taught statistics and investments at Sacred Heart and Clemson Universities. Dr. Field was the Assistant to the Director of Fidelity Int'l Mutual Funds. Field helped run the Fidelity Pacific Fund and its commodity fund. Field placed in the top 5 of the World Championship of Futures Trading. He is a regular contributor to numerous issues of Futures Magazine, Stocks and Commodities and has been published in Investors Business Daily and several highly respected journals. A 'man for all seasons', Dr. Field conducted orchestras nationwide and was the founder of the Carolina Pops Orchestra. He hears the cycles in music and the markets and gladly shares them with others.
