Moussa Ould Ebnou is a professor of philosophy at the University of Nouakchott in Mauritania and the publisher at DIWAN publishing house, which specializes in publishing Saharan science fiction. Moussa Ould Ebnou is regarded as one of the most innovative writers in African literature today.
