Author Biography

As a practicing ER doctor, Paul W. Nielsen knows firsthand the ins and outs of the medical field. He draws on his true-life experiences to add depth and realness to his line of medical thrillers. Nielsen released his first book, The Cambion, in 2014 from Morehead Publishing. This medical suspense/paranormal book earned a 5 star rating on Amazon and glowing reviews from readers. The Cambion was a Silver Medal winner in the Fiction Horror genre for the 2015 Global Ebook Awards. Paul released his next book, The Second Son, the following year and it won a Gold Medal in the Fiction Paranormal category for the 2015 Global Ebook Awards. He has other projects in the works. Paul W. Nielsen lives with his wife, Deborah, on a 236 acre ranch near the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia where he balances his time between work as an ER physician and writing his next novels. His hobbies include bonsai horticulture, horses and hunting. Paul currently has other projects in the works, and plans to release more books.
