The Wild Adventures of Dik Trom is an illustrated book translated from the Dutch Language to the English Language from the book "Uit het leven van Dik Trom" written by Cornelis Johannes Kieviet in 1891 and translated by Paula Josephson in 2016. The main character "Dik Trom" is a mischievous, chubby and kindhearted boy who lived in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands in the late 1800's. Dik is constantly up to amusing antics and gains admiration from other children with his bravery, leadership skills and daring deeds. The book is part of a series with the second book due to be published in 2017. It is suitable for readers from 8 years old and up and is also an enjoyable read for adults.
