Author Biography

David H. Gordon is associate teaching professor of Philosophy at Loyola University Maryland. He serves on the board of the Thoreau Society and is the author of THE IMPLICATIONS OF EVOLUTION FOR METAPHYSICS. Marc A. Jolley is director of Mercer University Press and senior lecturer in Philosophy and Great Books at Mercer University. He serves on the board of the Thoreau Society and is the editor of three essay collections, notably WHY KIERKEGAARD MATTERS.
