Emily Lovejoy is author and illustrator of the children's book To the Moon published in 2014. She has a background in art and visual culture education, psychology and early childhood education. I love that feeling when you take a blank object and turn it into something beautiful. I received my Bachelors degree in Art and Visual Culture Education from the University of Arizona. Sharing creativity is one of the most important things in the world to me. I work from the inside-out. I don't always think of the image or product I want to invent beforehand, it's a process. I try to create works that will engage the viewer with a kind of wonder, sometimes possessing ambiguity, contradiction that coexists with beauty.
