TRU DAT is a lit mag dedicated to outsider poets and marginalized voices. TRU DAT is a rejection letter to the bureaucratic lit mag submissions process. Contributors to TRU DAT simply call a sketch burner phone voicemail, recite their poem, and if it passes muster, Dee calls them back with an acceptance. TRU DAT embraces the spoken word essence of poetry, and how when it's spoken it either falls flat or doesn't.
