Author Biography
Laura Ashley Lord, born October 30, 1985, is an American poet, novelist and short story writer. Born in Easton, Maryland, she studied literature and creative writing at Chesapeake College, Washington College, and Southern New Hampshire University. She published her first book, Wake Up a Woman during her time at Washington College. While at Southern New Hampshire University, Lord published History of a Woman. Lord is now living with her husband and two children on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Currently, Lord is working on children's book and a sex education book for women. She has worked with other authors, collaborating work and editing manuscripts. Lord also works at Chesapeake College as a writing tutor. www.lauraalord.com
