Ways of Looking: Poems by Connecticut Laureates - Paperback

by Antoinette Brim-Bell (Editor)

This anthology brings together poems from contemporary poet laureates of Connecticut, past and present, poets who have been appointed to their posts by the state or by their community. The anthology's title draws on the opening poem, "Thirteen Ways of Looking." This choice emphasizes the fact that poetry multiplies our ways of experiencing one another, thereby enabling a fuller picture to emerge. Connecticut's wealth of literary talent is confirmed by the poems in this delightful collection.
