Jill Crainshaw is a poet, professor, and preacher. When she is not teaching at Wake Forest University School of Divinity in Winston-Salem, NC, she and her two pups, Bella and Penny, look for poems in their backyard. Sometimes Jill writes them down.

Through her writing and teaching, Jill celebrates life's seasons and seasonings. Jill has authored seven academic books in her spirituality, theology, and religious leadership disciplines. Her poetry can be found in several journals and magazines, including Synkoniciti, The New Verse News, and Writing in a Woman's Voice.
