by J. M. Bohn (Author)

Your Next Steps in Healthcare Transformation offers a perspective, both educational and practical, on key topics for all stakeholders in the healthcare industry as it shifts from the volume-driven model to a performance-based and quality-driven model of care. A set of six major initiatives are discussed that include organizational change, quality improvement, technology advances, innovation, and process management. Touching on health information technology, direction setting, new care delivery models (e.g. clinically integrated networks and accountable care organizations), and community economic impact, this book raises awareness of key issues important to physicians, nurses, healthcare leaders, students, and consumers alike.
