Author Biography

Vi Hughes likes creating stories sprinkled with magic and whimsy, stories that are playful and celebrate language. Her writing, both fiction and nonfiction, has been published in books, journals, magazines, anthologies, and even on outside spaces. She contributed stories to One Story A Day for Science, a series designed to build children's scientific knowledge. Her book Once Upon a Bath time was selected as a notable book for Toronto Public Library's Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books. Vi and her husband live on Vancouver's north shore.
