Due to its informal style, it resembles an essay, without the need to prove anything, and making room for a few ethical and philosophical reflections. The author offers new ideas for cancer treatment and invites her readers to engage and add their contribution to a new approach. This essay speaks directly to the patients and those around them, to the health care team, the researcher and others who may possibly be interested in the subject "cancer," keeping an open mind as generous as possible when analyzing our questions and needs.

Author Biography

Maria do Carmo Vieira-Montfils is a Canadian writer, born in Brazil. She has been living in Canada for 15 years. She had published two books in French, "Fenêtre Virtuelle" (poems) and "Une deuxième vie - aide à la francisation". "Behind the Scenes of Cancer" is her first book published by KBR, in three languages, Portuguese, French and English.
