Author Biography

Steven Duplij (Stepan Douplii) is a theoretical physicist, poet and musician, living and working in Kharkov, Ukraine. He is a Lead Staff Researcher of the Theory Group, Nuclear Physics Laboratory at V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University, and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (the prestigious Habilitation doctorate). He works in Theoretical Physics and has more than hundred scientific publications. Editor of the "Concise Encyclopedia of Supersymmetry", he has received grants from the Fulbright and Humboldt Foundations. Steven Duplij has several published collections of poems and short stories in English and Russian, some of them were published in international literary journals. During his numerous scientific travels abroad he has provided meetings and readings for lovers of poetry, and authored songs in USA, England, Germany, China, Spain, and Poland. He often accompanies to himself with his guitar.
