Maya Skye prefers a quiet path to enlightenment. As a yoga instructor in the small town of Gabriel's Garden, Minnesota, her biggest daily challenge is helping her students master their downward dog. But her peaceful world turns completely upside down when her mentor-a former Hell's Angel turned modern shaman-is brutally murdered.
Before his death, he leaves Maya a bizarre and mystical inheritance: a diary filled with startling scents that physically change with every turn of the page. This ancient journal holds the deepest secrets, prayers, and life mysteries handed down through generations of shamans.
When the magical diary is violently stolen from her, Maya is forced off her yoga mat and thrust into a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse.
Teaming up with an intrepid local reporter, Maya must use her natural wit, intuition, and Zen mindset to outsmart a ruthless killer. Can she track down the thief and protect her mentor's spiritual legacy, or will her own story end before she can recover the book?
